The body of Israeli hiker Dror Scheck, who was murdered on Sunday in India, is expected to be flown back to Israel by Tuesday evening, it was reported on Tuesday morning.
"We're operating around the clock; [time] is of no importance," the Israeli ambassador in New Delhi, David Danieli, told Army Radio.
"Our working assumption is that the Israeli rescue crew reached the site and is already on its way back," he added.
He also said that the embassy was still trying to send an Indian Air Force helicopter to the scene to expedite the extraction of the body.
