Israelis could spend NIS 1.5b on food by end of Pessah

The total amount of money Israelis spend this year on Pessah food shopping could reach NIS 1.5 billion, according to an estimate released by the Manufacturers Association of Israel ahead of the holiday.
The IMA also reported a sharp (50 percent) increase in the demand for healthy and reduced-calorie matza.
