Knesset Speaker Dalia Itzik is expected to meet with Palestinian Authority Chairman Mahmoud Abbas in Jordan on Sunday, Israel Radio reported. Jordanian Foreign Minister Abdul-Ilah al-Khatib will also join the talks.
Khatib and his Egyptian counterpart, Ahmed Aboul Gheit, will visit Israel on Wednesday for diplomatic talks with President Shimon Peres, Prime Minister Ehud Olmert and Foreign Minister Tzipi Livni.
