The Justice Ministry's Police Investigations Department (PID) arrested a shift commander in the Sharon jail Sunday morning on suspicion of receiving bribes in exchange for helping inmates, Army Radio reported.
The officer admitted acting against regulations when he permitted the inmates to receive visitors and packages with no security checks.
