Jerusalem school to be named after Yoni Netanyahu

A school in north Jerusalem's Pisgat Ze'ev neighborhood will be named after the late Yoni Netanyahu, the city announced Thursday. The School for Languages and Cultures, which is being renamed for the fallen Israeli hero next week, was established 23 years ago. A member of the elite General Staff Reconnaissance Unit, Netanyahu, the older brother of Likud opposition leader Binyamin Netanyahu, was killed during the famed 1976 Entebbe rescue operation which he commanded.
