Jihad member dead in IAF missile strike

Car was reportedly carrying cell members on their way to launch Kassams.

One Islamic Jihad operative was reported killed and three others wounded Monday evening after an IAF missile hit the car in which they were traveling near Khan Younis in the northern Gaza Strip. The four were reportedly cell members who were on their way to launch Kassam rockets at Israel. Ten days ago, an IAF aircraft attacked a terrorist training camp in Gaza City, killing five gunmen - including four relatives of a top commander, Palestinian officials said. Palestinian officials said the dead men were training at a base used by the Popular Resistance Committees, an umbrella group responsible for numerous rocket attacks against Israel. The airstrike hit meters away from the home of Moumtaz Dourghmush, the top militant commander in the resistance committees.
