J'lem receives thousands of tulips from Holland

In a yearly tradition, tens of thousands of tulip bulbs from Holland were donated Monday to the City of Jerusalem by Dutch Christian supporters of Israel, the city said. The flowers, which will be planted throughout the capital, were given to the city via the non-profit New Jerusalem Foundation by the head of pro-Israel lobbyist in the European Parliament, Willem Glashouwer. Over one million tulips have been donated to Jerusalem since the project began 16 years ago.
