Kalansuwa murder victim identified as 38-year-old Yosef Hashev

At approximately 9 p.m. Friday, Kalansuwa resident Yosef Hashev, 38, was killed in a drive-by shooting after walking out of a shop at the village center. Eye-witnesses at the scene verified this report.
Police said that Hashev had a criminal record, and believed that the murder was connected to his criminal activity.
The vehicle used in the shooting was found outside the village, abandoned and burnt.
