Following a turbulent week and an emotional speech on Wednesday evening, President Moshe Katsav spent the weekend with his family in Kiryat Malachi, where residents expressed their support for the president.
According to Army Radio, Katsav told reporters, "When I was elected president, you didn't want to speak to me. Now suddenly you all want to start a conversation with me."
