MK Yisrael Katz (Likud) submitted a bill Tuesday to outlaw the northern branch of Israel's Islamic Movement, on the grounds that it is an "illegal corporation."
The bill would stop Islamic Movement from running in national or local elections and raise funds.
Last week, the Islamic Movement's leader, Sheikh Raed Salah, was charged with incitement after
attacking policemen at the Temple Mount.
