One hundred days after the beginning of the pullout from Gaza, former residents of the central Gaza settlement of Kfar Darom announced Sunday morning that they refuse to relocate to temporary apartments that were built especially for them in the southern costal city of Ashkelon, Army Radio reported.
During the weekend, representatives of the settlers announced that they refused to move to the complex, which cost the government NIS 10 million. The evacuees announced that they are not accustomed to living in multi-story buildings and that they should be relocated to houses.
A meeting was expected to be held on Sunday morning between settlers' representatives and government representatives in an attempt to work out the disagreement.
