Kiryat Ata woman found shot dead

Police grill boyfriend whose gun caused death, say evidence indicates suicide.

A 21-year-old woman was found dead from a gunshot wound in her parents' house on Kiryat Ata's Rehov Ben Ami early Wednesday morning, police said.
The woman's boyfriend, 29,  holds a licensed weapon.
Police forensic inspectors said that evidence at the scene indicates suicide and not foul play.
The victim recently joined the security company where her boyfriend worked. He was detained for interrogation on Wednesday morning.
A social worker of the Kiryat Ata municipality arrived at the scene andtreated the bereaved mother, who was then taken to the city's welfaredepartment for further care.
Apart from suicide and murder,police also considered the possibility that the woman may have beenkilled by a stray bullet when her boyfriend was handling his gun.
