Knesset conducts memorial service for Yuri Shtern

A memorial service was conducted in the Knesset on Wednesday for the end of the 30-day mourning period for the late Israel Beiteinu MK Yuri Shtern. Among those who spoke at the ceremony were Prime Minister Ehud Olmert, opposition leader Binyamin Netanyahu, Strategic Threats Minister Avigdor Lieberman and Vice Premier Shimon Peres, as well as hundreds of immigrants from the former Soviet Union.
