Krayot resident accused of four attempted rapes

The Krayot District Court approved a request Tuesday morning to extend the remand by seven days of a northern resident accused of four counts of attempted rape. Four women have filed complaints with police, claiming that the man picked them up in his vehicle as they were hitchhiking on separate occasions and attempted to rape each woman after deviating off the road. One of the women recognized him in a local mall and called police who subsequently arrested him. The 32-year-old father of two, a resident of Kiryat Bialik, has no prior criminal record.
