The Knesset plenum voted on Wednesday to modify a law that would now allow retired Magistrate's Court, and District Court judges the option of returning to the bench for a period of up to four years.
The reason for the modification was to ease the workload in the court system.
Thirty-seven MKs voted for the modification of the law, while one MK voted against and one abstained.
