Prime Minister Ehud Olmert, Finance Minister Avraham Hirchson, and Education Minister Yuli Tamir signed an agreement Tuesday night ending the strike by the Senior Lecturers Organization for Higher Education.
According to the agreement, the lecturers agreed to stop striking, and the in exchange the Shochat Committee will not unilaterally make changes to the terms of employment for lecturers without conducting negotiations.
