Likud c'tee member appointed despite investigation

Likud central committee member Dr. Dror Hasidim was reportedly appointed the ombudsman of the fund for soldiers newly discharged from the IDF despite the fact that he was under investigation by police at the time.
According to an Army Radio report, police were investigating Hasidim on suspicion that he fraudulently obtained an academic degree.
