Lindenstrauss asks to postpone hearing on petition
By JPOST.COM STAFF
State Comptroller Micha Lindenstrauss requested on Tuesday morning to postpone the hearing on an IDF petition against the publication of a report on the management of the Home Front Command during the war in Lebanon, until he finds a lawyer.
The request came after Attorney-General Menahem Mazuz announced he would not represent Lindenstrauss before the High Court.
The High Court is due to convene Tuesday morning to consider the implications of the request and how to further the investigation.
The petition was scheduled for presentation at the High Court on Tuesday morning, two hours before the Lebanon war report was to be presented to the Knesset.
