In an unprecedented battle of words and accusations between the State Comptroller's office and the Civil Cimmissioner's office, Comptroller Micha Lindenstraus revealed on Monday morning that over the past few months the Civil Service tried to pressure the comptroller's office in an attempt to prevent the publication of a report relating to the Service.
In turn, Civil Service Commissioner Shmuel Hollander accused Lindenstrauss of bias and of having an agenda.
The annual report will be published on Tuesday afternoon. Among its findings, it will deal with possibly inappropriate appointments to posts in the Civil Service.
