Foreign Minister Tzipi Livni on Tuesday briefed Israeli ambassadors and consuls from around the world on diplomatic policy.
The messages Livni asked the diplomatic corps to convey included Israel's hope for a two-state solution to the Palestinian-Israeli conflict and Israel's rejection of any Arab peace plan not reached with Israel, such as the Saudi plan from 2002.
In the briefing, which was conducted via video conferencing and the internet, Livni introduced the ministry's new director-general, Aharon Abramovich.
