Livni: Russian invitation to Hamas 'inappropriate'

Foreign Minister Tzipi Livni said Sunday that Israel never expected Europe to lead the world against Hamas.
Livni told Army Radio that Israel had always been concerned that European nations would prefer to try and "understand and talk with" Hamas, and called Russia's overtures to Hamas "inappropriate" and harmful.
