Livni to leave for Washington, meet with Rice

Foreign Minister Tzipi Livni was set to leave for Washington on Monday night to discuss regional matters with US Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice. The two ministers were scheduled to discuss the Hamas win in the Palestinian Legislative Council elections two weeks ago, as well as Iran's nuclear program. While in Washington, Livni also scheduled to meet with US Vice President Dick Cheney, UN Secretary General Kofi Annan, and Jordan's King Abdullah II.
