Foreign Minister Tzipi Livni is scheduled to meet with European Union foreign policy chief Javier Solana in Sderot on Monday, the Government Press Office announced Sunday evening.
Earlier Sunday, the security cabinet decided to step up its military action against senior Hamas officials to counter continuing Kassam rocket attacks on Sderot and the western Negev.
