Livni: UN-approved cease-fire is good for Israel

Foreign Minister Tzipi Livni insisted on Saturday that the UN-approved cease-fire was a good one for Israel. She noted, in a Channel 2 interview, that the resolution accepted overnight Friday outlined the implementation of what was only written, but not enforced in Resolution 1559, including an arms embargo on Lebanon. Livni stated that Israel had predicted that Hizbullah leader Sheikh Hassan Nasrallah's would announce that his organization would attack so long as any Israeli forces were in Lebanon, and thus insisted that the UN resolution called upon Hizbullah to cease all military activity immediately.
