Several thousand people arrived in Tel Aviv's Rabin Square to express solidarity with Sderot residents on Monday.
Under the heading "Sderot is all of us", approximately 3,000 people wearing red shirts (as a reference to the warning the Red Dawn alarm code) heard in Sderot loudspeakers when Kassam rockets are being fired at the city, gathered for music shows and other events.
Organizers were disappointed at the low number of participants; 300 cops together with 170 stewards recruited for the event were mostly idle because of the low turnout.
The organizers said most participants were themselves Sderot residents.
