Man convicted of Herzliya club killing gets 15 years in prison

The Tel Aviv District Court on Monday sentenced Yossi Hazan, who was convicted of killing Eli Abarbiya at a Herzliya club last year, to 15 years in prison and two years' probation. Abarbiya attempted to break up a fight between Hazan and a security guard at the club and was beaten to death. At the court on Monday, Hazan's family began to cry out when the sentence was given, prompting Abarbiya's mother to begin shouting. Security intervened, and the judge ordered them to leave the courtroom.
