Kibbutz Yagur resident Ofer Karmi was jailed for six years by the Tel Aviv District Court on Thursday after he was convicted of attempting to rape a five-year-old girl and sexually abusing her.
Karmi, 33, was convicted in a plea bargain agreement in which he confessed that he carried out the acts while he was on a carpet cleaning job in the girl's family home in central Israel.
