Man sentenced to 4 years for buying stolen weapon

The Tel Aviv District Court on Sunday sentenced Beni Odah, a resident of the West Bank who has lived in Israel illegally for years, to four years in prison on charges of buying and attempting to deal arms. Odah was the friend of IDF soldier Omri Amir, who sold him a stolen M-16 for NIS 5000. A military court sentenced Amir to four years in prison for stealing the weapon and for drug charges, Army Radio reported.
