Man shot dead in Ashdod parking lot

Police say murder apparently motivated by crime; comes 3 days after 50 year old shot dead in Bat Yam.

A 34-year-old man with a criminal record was found shot to death in an underground parking lot on Ashdod's Rehov Ha'atzmaut overnight Thursday, police said. MDA medics called to the scene pronounced the man dead after their resuscitation efforts proved unsuccessful. Police said the shooting was apparently motivated by crime. The shooting comes three days after 50-year-old Atzmon Jerbi was shot dead in Bat Yam. According to police, Jerbi had a record of previous drug offenses.
