Kassam Barghouti, son of imprisoned Tanzim leader Marwan Barghouti, was released from Shikma Prison on Friday morning where he has been incarcerated since 2003 on a weapons possession conviction.
Barghouti, 21, was also suspected of perpetrating shooting attacks against Israelis but he was recently acquitted of those charges in a military court.
