Thousands of Magen David Adom volunteers will hand out parcels of food to the needy along with the Blue Square supermarket chain in honor of Rosh Hashana.
MDA said on Sunday that the level of need is very high, especially in the North after the war. Customers at Blue Square supermarket branches are being asked to donate food for dispatch to the needy chosen through the local authorities' social welfare departments.
