Gunmen opened fire on a vehicle in the West Bank on Monday, wounding a Palestinian, medics reported.
The attack took place near the Jewish settlement of Beit Hagai, the Magen David Adom rescue service said, providing no further details. The report could not immediately be confirmed independently.
Yeruham Mendola, a spokesman for the rescue service, said the condition of the wounded Palestinian was not yet known. It was unclear whether the person had been traveling in a car or walking outside at the time of the shooting.
Military officials said the incident appeared to be the result of Palestinian infighting.
The West Bank has experienced a surge in violence in recent days, with Palestinian militants carrying out several stabbing and shooting attacks on Israelis and Israeli troops intensifying raids in searches for militants.
