Ministry denies report that Egypt has stopped gas shipments to Israel

The National Infrastructures Ministry denied on Wednesday an Al-Jazeera report that Egypt has stopped supplying natural gas to Israel.
According to the ministry, shipments of gas from Egypt to Israel are continuing as usual. The ministry said that Al-Jazeera's reporter might have "misunderstood" what Egyptian officials told him.
The reporter, based in Cairo, had quoted Egyptian sources saying that the decision to stop its gas supply had been taken to pressure Israel to stop its military operations in the Gaza Strip.
