Acting Prime Minister Ehud Olmert's speech at the 6th Herzliya Conference on Tuesday received mixed responses from the Left.
Peace Now Sec.-Gen. Yariv Oppenheimer said, "Olmert's speech did not include anything new and he is guaranteeing a stalemate in the diplomatic process and a continuation of the status quo."
On the other hand, Gadi Baltiansky, director-general of the Geneva Initiative, claimed that "Olmert unwittingly accepted the Initiative in his speech."
