Former Shin Bet chief MK Ami Ayalon declared on Monday that the IDF should end its policy of shelling northern Gaza with artillery, since it strikes innocents.
He said the only way to stop the rockets launched at Israel was to conduct negotiations between Prime Minister Ehud Olmert and Palestinian Authority Chairman Mahmoud Abbas, Israel Radio reported.
