MK Ratzon blasts Sharon appointments

MK Michael Ratzon (Likud), one of the leaders of the so-called Likud "rebels", wasted no words Sunday morning in describing his perception of Ariel Sharon's campaign to earn approval for filling ministerial positions left open by the resignations of MKs Natan Sharansky and Binyamin Netanyahu. "They are trying to institutionalize prostitution in the State of Israel," Ratzon fumed. "Once they have institutionalized it and as soon as it is legal, then it is permissible to begin discussing this sort of appointments. They (the nominees) received a prize for personally supporting the Prime Minister. This is clear and definite political payoff."
