MK Zahalka: PFLP founder Habash should be reburied in Lod

MK Jamal Zahalka (Balad) said Saturday that the body of Popular Front for the Liberation of Palestine founder George Habash should be transferred to his birthplace, Lod.
Habash was buried in Jordan this week and his funeral was attended by several Arab Israeli MKs.
Dozens of people attended a memorial for the PFLP founder in a Lod church on Saturday.
Habash was born to Greek Orthodox parents in the Israeli city in 1925 and left during the 1948 war.
