Defense Minister Shaul Mofaz plans to ask the High Court of Justice to reopen discussions regarding the court’s ruling last week forbidding security forces from the procedure of using Palestinian civilians when entering homes of fugitives.
According to Army Radio, Mofaz is interested in making a personal appearance before the judges to explain the defense establishment’s opinion that security forces would be less safe without the procedure, and that arresting terrorists would be made more difficult.
