Two mortars landed near Beit Hanun on Wednesday afternoon, causing no casualties or damage. Earlier Wednesday, at least six mortar shells were fired at the Erez Crossing. The explosions caused a fire on the Palestinian side of the crossing. No one was reported injured. Yahia al-Jabri, a 67-year-old Palestinian, was killed early Wednesday morning by IDF troops during a search in his house in a Hebron neighborhood. His wife Fatima, 65, was seriously wounded and was taken to hospital. Jabri's two sons and another female relative were also wounded. IDF sources said the soldiers entered the house as part of an arrest operation, and were attacked by the household members who threw various objects at them. When the residents tried to seize the soldiers' weapons they opened fire. Jabri died in the following shooting. An IDF soldier was wounded in the event. Earlier Tuesday night, an armed Palestinian was killed and another wounded during an IAF air strike in the northern Gaza Strip, Palestinian sources reported. According to a report on Israel Radio, the two were trying to plant a bomb when they were hit by the IAF planes. The incident came hours after two Kassam rockets landed in the western Negev. No one was wounded in the rocket attack and no damage was caused, as both landed in open areas. Elsewhere, Palestinians threw a bomb at IDF troops operating in Jenin. None of the soldiers were wounded and no damage caused. A total of 10 terror suspects were arrested throughout the West Bank overnight Tuesday, including five Hamas members in and around Nablus.
