Mosquitoes plague Jerusalem's Ramot neighborhood

A swarm of mosquitoes has descended upon the Jerusalem neighborhood of Ramot. Five thousand complaints were registered on Monday alone by neighborhood residents. The mosquitoes apparently breed in sewage that has been flowing from Ramallah, Army Radio reported. The Jerusalem Municipality asked the local council near Ramallah to deal with the problem since it was beyond the Green Line. Head of the IDF Central Command Maj.-Gen. Yair Naveh instructed the logistical branch of his command to move and clean the sewage pipes.
