Mother kills 4-year-old son by drowning him in sea off Bat Yam

A woman from Rishon Lezion murdered her four-year-old son overnight Thursday by drowning him in the waters of the Mediterranean Sea off the coast of Bat Yam.
Police received a phone call at 1:30 a.m. from bystanders reporting that they had seen a woman fleeing after throwing her son into the water. The police then arrested the woman, while at the same time conducting searches for the boy.
The boy was found shortly after, but Magen David Adom paramedics failed to resuscitate him.
