MK Danny Naveh (Likud) called on the Knesset on Thursday to discuss the functioning and membership of the health basket committee.
"Any political intervention in the committee's membership is illegitimate," Naveh said, adding, "The welfare of the sick demands that the committee be allowed to work solely based on professional considerations."
