Near accident as Iberia passenger plane almsot lands in closed runway

An Iberia Airlines passenger plane intending to land at Ben Gurion Airport nearly landed in a runway closed for renovation, Thursday afternoon.
The tower noticed the pilot error and directed him to a different runway.
The plane landed with no incident.
