Netanyahu asked to cut trips due to safety costs

Knesset Speaker Reuven Rivlin asked MK Binyamin Netanyahu to minimize his trips outside the country due to the high costs of ensuring his safety. Since Netanyahu resigned from his post of finance minister, the Knesset has been paying for his safety, Army Radio reported. Rivlin said that the hosts who invite Netanyahu should contribute to the costs of his security. Rivlin also asked Netanyahu to cut back his personal travels in order to save on protection expenses.
