Netanyahu: Germany fighting anti-Semitism, but scars of past are deep

"German society is fighting against the phenomena of anti-Semitism and neo-Nazism, but the scars of the past are very deep and can't be treated in a single generation, if they can be treated at all," opposition leader Benjamin Netanyahu said Tuesday.
Speaking in the Knesset before German Chancellor Angela Merkel addressed the plenum, the opposition leader related to MKs who expressed reservations about Merkel speaking in German, saying that "it's possible to understand them, but there is no personal opposition to you or your state."
