Netanyahu: Shalom would turn Likud into 'Kadima B'

Sources close to Likud Leader Binyamin Netanyahu reported on Sunday that if former foreign minister Silvan Shalom, who is currently number two on the party list, took over Likud and joined a Kadima government he would turn the Likud party into 'Kadima B'. The sources claimed that if someone else was in the number two spot on Likud's party list, it is likely that Netanyahu would consider retiring in the event of an election loss, however he would not do this since he would never allow Shalom to take control of the Likud.
