Following the publication Wednesday of State Comptroller Micha Lindenstrauss's report, in which his office deemed that the government neglected Israel's home front during last summer's Second Lebanon War, NU/NRP Chairman MK Uri Ariel submitted a no-confidence proposal against the Olmert government.
"A government that abandoned a million citizens during war cannot continue [to govern] and Olmert's covering up won't help," said Ariel.
