Prime Minister Ehud Olmert and Palestinian Authority Chairman Mahmoud Abbas are scheduled to meet in Jerusalem Tuesday for another round of talks expected to focus on drawing up an agreement of principles for discussion at a regional conference in Washington sometime in the fall, sources in the Prime Minister's Office said on Sunday.
The two last met in Jerusalem on August 6, and have begun meeting regularly about every two to three weeks.
In response to a question by Strategic Affairs Minister Avigdor Lieberman at Sunday's cabinet meeting over whether there were any secret channel negotiations with the Palestinians on final-status issues, Olmert said that outside of his and his office's contact with Abbas and his bureau, there were no other channels of negotiation.
