Olmert associate questioned by police in US

An associate of Prime Minister Ehud Olmert, media monitoring organization Media Watch founder Sharon Tzur, has been investigated by police teams sent to the US as part of the Talansky case, Army Radio reported Wednesday. According to the report, Tzur, who New York financier Morris Talansky has said was present on one of the occasions in which he gave Olmert money, has denied this, and sources close to Olmert were hoping that her testimony would strengthen the prime minister's case and undercut the version of events given by Talansky.
