Olmert: Fighting will end when threat removed

Prime Minister Ehud Olmert told the UN delegation on the current crisis in Lebanon on Tuesday that the fighting would continue as long as Israel felt a threat to its security and the kidnapped soldiers remained in captivity. Olmert had earlier said he would not meet with the UN mission but surprisingly arrived for talks with the delegation, accompanied by his chief of staff Yoram Turbowitz and foreign policy adviser Shalom Turgeman.
